This 1″ x 50′ foam tape roll is made of closed cell foam which is a tough, dense material great for moisture absorbency. Closed cell foam tapes have excellent leak proofing as well as soundproofing capabilities making it suitable for outdoor use such as weatherproofing and gasketing windows and doors. Explore the numerous ways to use closed cell foam tapes like sealing roof curbs to AC units, insulating pipes for convection and conduction heat transfer, preventing containments and dust from air flow as well as condensation and moisture from forming mildew. This tape is a blend of Neoprene, EPDM and SBR Closed Cell Foam forming a soft density and smooth texture. It contains a rubber-based pressure sensitive adhesive and generates a long-lasting seal against moisture, dust, and air leaks, and also resists acids, ozone, and oxidation. Simply peel and apply and an immediate bond will result. These foam tapes are 1/16″ thick and its shelf life is two years from coated date.
