16 fl. oz. 83 mm clear straight-sided glass “Salsa” jar with an 83-405 continues threaded neck finish. It has a wide mouth opening, and a popular profile, applicable for use across industries. This jar is excellent for food (salsa, mayonnaise, nut butter, jam) and useful for products that need a wide opening for dispensing. Glass offers excellent strength, weight, and compatibility for materials that cannot use plastic containers. 405 Finish
A glass bottle with a 405 finish is actually a 400 finish but with a depressed thread. The 405 finish was designated to avoid abrasion and chaffing on the interior of cap threads. Both 400 and 405 are shallow continuous thread finishes.
