Key benefits:
- Applicable with alcohols, weak acids, and weak alkali
- Uses 13-20% less space in the autoclave or on the shelf
- Wide mouth neck for easy storing and pouring
- Disposable bottle
- Screened white enamel graduations for accurate measurements, which are easier to see than molded graduations
- White square marking spot on bottle used for identification purposes
- 45 mm one-piece autoclavable orange GL 45 threaded PP plug seal cap minimizes contamination, no liner
- Microwavable with aqueous liquid
- Maximum working temperature: 130° C
- Minimum working temperature: -80° C
- Maximum storage temperature: 138° C to 143° C
- Thermal durability: 135° C
- Can be autoclaved one time at 121° C and 15psi (additional autoclaving is not recommended, as it will weaken the product)
- High shatter resistance level and medium pH stability
- Sterile container
*Temperatures noted above are recommendations. Bottle performance may vary in the freezer due to the temperature and contents inside. A trail run is recommended.
Material:
Polycarbonate (PC) is a naturally transparent thermoplastic with high impact resistance and a UV filter. It is a common lighter weight alternative to glass and is prone to scratches. Polycarbonate can be heated and cooled for at least two times without causing significant changes. This lack of degradation and burning makes polycarbonate suitable for injection molding and therefore, applicable for recycling. Polycarbonate is sold commercially in many colors. It is often used in protective gear and medical devices, yet can also be found in containers, such as square storage bottles. Thermoplastics have a melting point of 311°F.
