37BL36 is a 2.5-gallon, red Type II, DOT-approved steel safety can that transports flammable liquids for onsite fuel dispensing applications. The 11.75″ outer Dia. x 12.7″ H (298mm x 305mm), DOT-approved safety can incorporates a hold-down bracket tethered to the spout that prevents vapor release and spills during transport. Container’s easily engaged, built-in fusible link melts at 165° F (74° C), to prevent dangerous pressure buildup at higher temperatures. Includes maker’s AccuFlow technology which features a Safe-Squeeze trigger mechanism that activates the piston-actuated spout and vacuum-release valve to allow accurate pouring from the 9″ L x 1″ outer Dia. (229mm x 25mm) metal hose. Includes an internal flame arrester that dissipates heat to prevent flashback ignition. Self-closing lid automatically vents between 3 and 5 psig (0.2 and 0.35 bar). Heavy roll bars prevent damage to the spout.
