This is a 55 gallon direct drive bung mount air gear drum mixer with 2 HP, 34″ shaft, and 0-425 RPM. This closed-top drum mixer for 55 gallon drums can efficiently turn-over large batches of a variety of different liquids and solids. It has a nearly air tight seal by threading directly into a standard 2″ NPT bung hole, which is especially helpful when evaporation or ambient contamination is a concern. It has a permanently angled mount for achieving optimum mixing position, while its collapsible propellers allow for easy installation. It has a gear driven tank which incorporates a gear reducer, which lowers the shaft speed considerably while creating additional torque that allows for much larger mixing blades. It also features a shaft support bearing that helps steady the mixing shaft when in use, reducing wear on the motor. The larger mixing blades makes it a better choice for mixing large batches of higher viscosities liquids and materials. The measured blade length is the blade’s diameter when extended during operation. The air motor has variable speed control and is explosion proof. It is included with a control valve and muffler.
