38B162 is a Series 400 heavy-duty c-clamp 3 HP air gear drive mixer with a 1.25″ Dia. x 48″ L mixing shaft. This durable mixer has dual 15″ blades and a variable mixer shaft RPM (0-425). Series 400 mixers are heavy-duty mixers with ball and socket type c-clamps to allow for precise positioning of the mixer shaft on open top tanks and open top 55 gallon drums. These mixers also include a shaft support bearing to help reduce wear on the motor making them long-lasting compared to economy alternatives.

Gear drive mixers have larger mixing blades with the ability to mix thicker fluids. The gear drive creates additional torque as it incorporates a gear reducer. This portable agitator features a high-efficiency pneumatic/air motor that comes with a control valve and muffler. Air motors are variable speed so that you can control the rotation of the shaft. Air powered motors are also safe as they are explosion-proof and will not burn out or overheat for a customizable agitator for your mixing needs.

This 55 gallon drum mixer is durable and portable for a variety of industrial applications including mixing resins, dyes, washes, compounds, etc. The Coupling, shaft and mixing impellers are made with stainless steel. This mixer is also available with an optional saddle plate for more permanent mounting.
